Help anyone!
The old owners forum had drawings of teh E40 fuel adn water tanks. The links seem to be deactivated. Does anyone have the drawings? Please email the pdf file.

Ted, florida marine tanks have them.
But first why do you want them?
Are you doing a complete change out of tanks?
If so remember the the E40 water tanks are not replaceable as is.
They must be cut out to get them out of the boat. So there are many options for tanks.
I recomend that for the fuel tank, you remove your existing tank and measure that, or better still your bilge space that the tank is in. Once the tank is out, that is not a big job.
Using someone else's measurments might be a expensive learning moment.
These boats are not all the same. There might be just enough diference to make is a omg what just happend moment.
Also the water tanks are aluminum. I do not like drinking water out of a aluminum tank, nor should you.
Ronco makes poly tanks, they are inexpensive, and even though finding tanks to fit is a chore.. it can be done.
That is the route I took.
So define what it is your looking to do first.

Thanks for the reply.
I removed all 3 tanks from my E40.You have a good idea about measuring them but I would have thought that all E-40's tanks would have been the same.
I cut the belly water tank in half to remove it. I cut the T tank into thirds - the two wings and the main section. This tank did not want to come loose and it took block and tackle to get it to break loose. I have a generator and the fuel tank is hard to get to and it absolutely would not move a fraction of an inch so i decided to cut open the keel. It turns out that it was epoxied into the keel so it would have never come out without cutting the keel.
So now I have the luxury of being able to start over.
1) New fuel tank.
I have one bid for ~$1000 from a local fabricator. I was going to get a second bid from Atlantic Tank Welding. I guess i could call Florida Marine tanks as well. I was planning to have the new fuel tank made of aluminum but make it smaller so that it would sit up 3 inches above the bottom and a cople of inches away from the back. I can them put a hose or something down in the bottom of the keel to keep the tank dry. I have a local marine service company who will work with me on that. He had the idea of strapping a small Rule bilge pump to a pipe adn setting it on th ebottom of the keel. That way if anything went wrong I could just pull up the pipe to replace it.
2) New water tanks.
I was looking at Ronco but could not find anything that looked like it would come close to fitting down into the space that the T tank came out of. Do you have any suggestions??
Also the cost of the Ronco tanks is such that I was going to call Atlantic Tank welding to see if they could make two alumnium water tanks for the same price as the Ronco stuff. I will filter the water anyway.
Can you give me any suggestions on the Ronco plastic sizes? I was a little worried that if I got something that didn't fit very well into the keel that there would be a lot of dead space around the watertank. That would lead to a weaker keel perhaps, I would loose a lot of capacity and well it seemed like it might be difficult to strap it in somehow.
Any suggestions or comments on what I described?

Ted, sorry it took so long to get back to you on this.
I can only tell you what I picked for our boat.
Ronco tank # B473 port and starboard. It is a 22gal tanks 43"x17" total 44g
Ronco # B147 between them, a 35 gal tank 79g
Ronco B251 15 gal, this was supposed to be a drinking only tank
with a hand pump only, and routed thru the fridge for
cold water, and still may be. 94g
I also had florida marine tanks make a aluminum tank of 35 gal to
go in the bilge where the T tank is now, but will most likely use it
as diesel instead.
Ronco B389, for grey water 10 g
Ronco 57W 20 gal above the 35gal diesel tank Total 114g
I believe that with a spectra watermaker, that this is sufficent. Also have
a 11gal hot water heater, so total water on board in tanks, is 125g.
Download the catalog and look for those part numbers.
I put 8" access hatches on them, and fittings as needed.
The 2 port starboard tanks drain into the 35 B147 tank where the pickup is. The 57W will have a pickup as well and connect via a manifold. That way if we run out of water, there is always 20g left, plus the 15 gal drinking water tank...
And having a closed grey water tank will be better than the Endeavour open sump tank, all showers, galley sink, washer, and ac condensation drains will dump into it, and then out the stern via a whale pump.
It will be on the aft starboard side of the main bilge area near the nav station.
I should say that even though these tanks were put on board, there were never fully installed, when the boat sank, all of this was put on hold, and they had been covered with a film of diesel, oil and corrosion from the batteries and the thru hulls.
They are now somewhat clean and waiting to be reinstalled....
