My E32 rudder has water inside, I planned to open it to dry or rebuild it.
Is somebody have the construction layout of this rudder, I want to know how is it made of and where is the structure.
Thanks

try drilling small holes in bottom for the layup period and then epoxy them closed with a wooden skewer dipped in epoxy _________________ Timothy F. Shanahan

I don't have 'drawings' but Foss Foam in Florida might be able to give you some information as they've built replacements. I believe that it's fairly simple with the post extending into the rudder and metal "wings" attached to it at right angles. If you can't get any information, maybe a metal detector or stud detector will give you a clue as to the configuration. _________________ Paul Uhl

| Our E42 had a delaminated rudder which we tried to have repaired unsuccessfully. We ended up ordering a new rudder from Foam Foss in Florida who are still building Endeavor rudders to original specifications. |

OK, this is a good idea to figure where are the metal wings inside with a metal detector. I hope I can fix it without ordering a new one.
I will contact Foss Foam for more info and for a quote, in case of disaster.
Thanks
