In the galley of my 1985 42, I have the split refer/freezer with the freezer more aft (and sink is over on centerline). Aft of the freezer are 4 drawers. But there is a space between the 4 drawers and the freezer, almost a foot. I don't think there is anything there. No access panel.
Anybody know what is in there?

HUmm??? Not sure but I will look when I get back to the boat. Perhaps it is insulation for the refer. Our Freezer porton is forward.The refrigeration unit is under the aft section of the port side settee. I know it is very well insulated since we are in South Texas...just bought the boat and this will be our first summer with her so we will see how it does in the heat of the Corpus Christi Summer.
