We have the highest bid on an E37 Ketch, A plan, subject to inspection of the engine and the rigging. The main mast appears to have been pop riveted together just below the spreaders. Current owners claim that it has always been this way and there have been no concerns. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?
We currently own an Acadian Yawl, 1969, so moving up in length is a bit unnerving, but we restored her and hope to do the same with this 1985 Endeavor. Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Evelyn & John |

| Correction--This is a 1977 Endeavour--not an '85. |

Go to www.rigrite.com and you can get the spec's on the mast. (401-739-1140 ). Ask for sales to talk to a live person.

Thanks for the tip--rigrite was helpful with my question on the "mast sleeve" and also followed up with more information. This is definitely a project boat, but as long as she can motor and sail in 2010, we intend to go ahead with the purchase. I think we will be camping out at the marina for a while this fall.
What happened to the Endeavour owners website? It had so much information that we could use right now.
