Need to replace the stemhead on our new e40. The survey shows some stress cracks in it.

Has  anybody done this before ? Any help, links pics and places you obtained the stainless from would be a help.
I was going to order for here http://www.onlinemetals.com/app_g....cfm?step=2&id=1&app_id=1

but they dont do much but cut it.
Thanks in advance

Check out RigRite at: www.rigrite.com

A lot of the Endeavour rigging and hardware is available from them. I don't know about the stemhead fittings but it's definitely worth contacting them.

Wondered if anyother endeavour owners have the same setup on the stemhead as I do.
The main plate  is bolted into the bow, and bent up for connection to the jib stay, but then its welded to a deck plate and the anchor rollers are then weleded to.
Is t his a stock setup or is it custom work?

Haven't had time to completely pull the entire unit off yet, So getting a quote will take longer than I expected.
What I first had thought would be a realitivly simple (yea right>.. LOL ) job is getting a bit more complcated.
I have to move my boat to a different slip in 2 weeks so don't want to remove the stem until I do.
Thoughts ?
