|
|
We have a 1980 E43 (MaLu)and I am not on the boat (I'm in Palm Springs).
Can anyone tell me what the maximum width of a 1" thick sheet of plywood that can fit thru the main hatch entry into the salon?
I want to precut the sheet here before I go to the boat that is 240 miles away in Ensenada.
Thanks Dick Jewell SailorofSJ@aol.com |

Width 28 1/8"
Lenght 29 5/8"
Diagonal 40 1/2" (isn't the same in the other diagonal...this is the shorter)
Depth to sole..79" (again this is variable..this is the shortest measurement and if you have a box below which we have subtract 4 1/2")
So to be safe:
A 39" wide 1" thick sheet of ply wood would fit down the hatch...with the ladder removed...and it could be 74" long.
