Have a Hurth ZF250 trans. Trying to pull the shaft. Got the flange apart but need to get the shaft off the flange. Common way is to put a socket against the shaft and tighten 4 bolts between flanges. But the trans side of the flange is cupped and makes this method about impossible.
How have you removed the flange from your shaft? |

I assume you verfied that there was not a set screw allso. You should have enough room to slide the shaft toward the rudder and attach something between prop and the castle bearing to the shaft. This should give you something solid to tap against. If your boat is like ours you should have enough room from the inspection hatch for the packing gland to be able to drive the flange off.
