[b]Have a 37 "A" plan with a top loading ice box.  Has anyone installed a fridge and if so where did you locate the compressor unit?

We managed to fit our unit into what used to be the chart bin located next to our chart table.  A narrow space to be sure.

I have an E33 and installed the Adler Barber ColdMachine in her top-loading ice box. I mounted the refrigerator coil box on the aft bulkhead of the icebox and located the compressor immediately behind it in the lazarette compartment on top of the box which holds the galley drawers. It is a perfect size, out of the elements and very sturdy when I braced the galley drawer box from below with a dowel anchored on the hot water heater platform. I was also able to run an exhaust vent from the compressor to the outside using an existing vent hood.
